Two club members were riding in the short (43m) but challenging spin round the Applecross peninsula, there was a steady headwind to the base of the Beallach (600m+ road climb), from there the day was bright and sunny with 400 riders enjoying the day. The HCC riders finished as follows:
- Steven Liddle – 2:38:36, Beallach Climb 0:36:31
- Donald Thomson – 2:59:30
Both riders finishing under 3 hours, which is the benchmark time for riders to get under, so a great day for the club.
